Frederick Steckel joined Hill Street Capital after heading UBS Warburg's Canadian Telecom, Media and Technology practice in Toronto. Prior to that, Mr. Steckel was a senior investment banker in UBS Warburg's telecommunications group in New York.

Mr. Steckel has over 12 years of investment banking experience predominantly in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance, including over 10 years experience, covering the telecommunications, media and cable industries. Over that time Mr. Steckel has originated and executed a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, public debt and equity financings, private equity placements, and advisory assignments for U.S., European and Latin American clients.

Mr. Steckel received a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
