Prior to founding Hill Street Capital, Mr. Brim led the High Yield
origination effort at Dillon Read and Warburg Dillon Read, and supervised
the firm's participation in over 150 high yield transactions. He
also headed the firm's Restructuring practice and was involved in
numerous high-profile bankruptcies and debt restructurings. While
trained as a corporate financier, Mr. Brim has also been closely
involved with capital markets. He is experienced in loan syndication
and founded the Interest Rate Swap business of Salomon Brothers.
He supervised many Eurobond issues, including more than 70 lead
managements in a single year.
Mr. Brim joined Dillon Read in 1972 and has been engaged in Corporate
Finance continuously for 30 years. In addition to serving as a partner
of Dillon Read, he has been a Managing Director of Salomon Brothers
and of Merrill Lynch. During his career, Mr. Brim has been involved
in both domestic and international corporate finance. He has been
stationed in London on three occasions for a total of six years,
most recently with Warburg Dillon Read in 1999.
Mr. Brim received a B.A. in History from Yale University and an
M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
