HSC acted as advisor to Quadra Mining Ltd. (TSX: "QUA"),
a rapidly growing Canadian copper mining company, on a range of
matters including access to international bank and debt capital
markets, the international credit rating process, and more recently,
a fully financed A$350 million bid for Equatorial Ltd., an Australian
holding company whose principal asset is a 39% ownership in CCM
El Tesoro, a Chilean company that owns and operates the El Tesoro
copper project in Chile.
American Charitable
Foundation
HSC acted as financial advisor to The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation,
one of the largest and most prestigious U.S. foundations, in the
valuation and sale of its D.D. Shepard Property in West Virginia,
containing significant coal, natural gas and timber.
Mexican Movie
Theater Operator
HSC advised Mexican movie theater operator Multimedios Cinemas,
S.A. de C.V. in its sale to an investor group led by private
equity firms Southern Cross Group and Morgan Stanley Strategic Investments.
Financing was provided by Barclays Capital.

Iron Ore Company
HSC continues to advise Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE: "CLF")
on a variety of strategic alternatives, including their anticipated
$133 million investment in the Amapa Project, a Brazilian iron ore
mining project, with an affiliate of MMX Mineracao e Metalicos SA.
Mexican Telecommunications
Group
HSC continues to advise Iusacell, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: "CEL"),
a leading Mexican telecommunications operator, in the restructuring
of approximately $1 billion of bank debt and defaulted public bonds.
International
Brewer
HSC advised Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. (NYSE: "BUD")
with respect to international opportunities.
US Propane Distributor
HSC acted as special financial advisor to the Board of Supervisors
of Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. (NYSE: "SPH"), the third
largest propane distributor in the US. HSC provided strategic advice
on various corporate matters.
Music Publishing
HSC advised Apollo Management, L.P. in its bid for Bertelsmann
Music Group's music publishing assets.
Mexican Cable
Company
HSC successfully assisted Cablemas, S.A. de C.V., a leading
Mexican cable TV operator, in establishing a joint venture with
the Mexican telephone operator Bestphone. HSC continues to advise
Cablemas in evaluating strategic alternatives.

Estate Firm
HSC advised commercial real estate broker Studley Inc. on
its participation in the equity of a leveraged buyout of the French
real estate services firm AOS.

Solutions Company
HSC advised Axel Johnson Inc., the North American operating
arm of the Sweden-based Axel Johnson Group with interests
in the energy and environmental industries, in its acquisition of
Kinetico Incorporated, one of the world's leading manufacturers
of residential, commercial, industrial and municipal water treatment
systems.

HSC advised Schiffenhaus Industries, Inc., a privately owned
US corrugated packaging manufacturer, on its successful sale to
Southern Container Corporation.

Company
HSC rendered a fairness opinion to the Board of Directors of Security
Capital Corporation (AMEX: "SCC"), a US diversified holding
company, relating to the sale of its Primrose Holdings, Inc. subsidiary.
HSC rendered a second fairness opinion relating to the sale of the
remaining portion of the Company.

Company
HSC rendered a fairness opinion to the Board of Directors of The
telx Group, Inc., an operator of telecom network interconnection
facilities, relating to its sale to GI Partners.
US Energy Company
HSC advised Sprague Energy Corporation, a leading supplier
of energy products and related services in the Northeast, on its
successful acquisition of a New England oil terminal. HSC continues
to advise Sprague Energy on a variety of strategic and financial
alternatives.
